Primer is building a marketingOS for b2b companies. Growth marketing has boomed in recent years and every B2B company needs a tailored, data-driven approach to win business in their market. Primer empowers companies to build their go-to-market much faster without having to engineer an expensive system. Our product lets users join together disparate datasets, connect their fragmented marketing and sales SaaS tools, and construct automated “playbooks” for customer acquisition.

In our first year we bootstrapped our way to $1M in revenue while working with the fastest growing B2B brands like Rippling, Verkada, Ironclad, and Brex. After that initial success, we closed a seed round led by Craft Ventures and have only grown from there.

We are looking for Growth Strategist to join our team to ensure Primer’s continued success. This person would work closely with customers to ensure they can see the value in Primer quickly and repeatedly. Additionally, this person would be responsible for creating and disseminating repeatable playbooks to help customers see success and improve ROI.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the Sales and Marketing Expert at scale - executing Sales and Marketing initiatives for both outbound and paid social channels. Creating repeatable motions but also being creative in finding new ways to activate customer data to achieve success.
  • Problem Solving - Understanding the customer’s end goal and working backwards to create a process and help the customer execute on that process in order to ensure they meet their goals. Living in the shoes of the end user, understanding their problem, and giving them a solution.
  • Constantly proving and improving ROI — What is the customer getting out of their partnership with Primer?  You are constantly honing in on what the ROI is for the customer and using every opportunity to highlight that to the customer directly.

Who you are:

  • You’re someone who understands B2B SaaS and how to activate data
  • You have a digital analytics background — you’re someone who loves to look at how things are performing and are relentless in iterating until you see success
  • You have experience with marketing/sales systems and are conversant in systems like SFDC, Marketo, and Hubspot
  • You have worked with various clients of multiple sizes and have a track record of helping them to success
  • You love to be on the cutting edge of new technologies and are excited about joining a fast and ever evolving company

The Fine Print:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience either as an internal growth strategist or at an agency
  • Proficient in sales/marketing tools such as CRMs, outbound tools, ad platforms
  • Strong verbal and written skills — able to codify knowledge and create playbooks, user guides, and other collateral that can be distributed widely
  • Data-driven and able to aggregate metrics both internally and externally to prove ROI
